Cooking Classes [Starting in 2022]
We are seeking volunteers to assist with cooking enrichment classes that teach students basic cooking skills for affordable, nutritious, and kid-friendly recipes. Through these activities volunteers have an opportunity to build relationships and mentor students, while having fun cooking.

Learning Garden
Volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks, including: planting seasonal vegetables, weeding and watering garden beds, and keeping compost piles active and healthy. While most volunteers come volunteer individually, we can also accommodate volunteer groups.

Nutrition Education [Starting in 2022]
We need volunteers to help create games and activities for kids to learn more about healthy eating habits. Past activities have included board games based on learning food groups, Bean Bingo, Fruit and Veggie Memory, and taste tests. You would have access to all past resources, printers, and laminators at the Resource Center, as well as our on-site Learning Garden. Activity/game develop can be done virtually or in person at the Neighborhood Resource Center.

Summer Camp
We are seeking volunteers to assist with our Summer Camp Program. Volunteers will assist with playground monitoring, field trips, and/or daily stations and activities. Through these activities volunteers have an opportunity to build relationships and mentor children and youth.

Out-of-School Time [Currently through special events.]
We are seeking volunteers to provide homework help, and to participate in enrichment classes and structured play time. Through these activities volunteers have an opportunity to build relationships and mentor children and youth.
