After-School Programs
The NRC offers a variety of educational and creative arts after-school programs for youth ages 6-17. Our programs are designed to help youth achieve academic success, provide creative outlets for youth to express themselves and develop self confidence. Tutoring
We offer tutoring to help students of all ages — from children to adults, please make an appointment with us. Our volunteers help students with a variety of subjects, from reading and writing, to math and science. View calendar »
Art
All ages
Work on a variety of art projects using paint, clay, charcoals and other materials. Learn about artists and the cultures they came out of. No previous experience necessary! View calendar »
Modern Dance
Ages 6-11
This class will teach children modern dance in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. In addition to learning dance basics, kids will use their imaginations as they explore creative movement. The class helps to improve confidence, posture, grace, coordination and self-esteem. No previous experience necessary! View calendar »
Boy Scouts
Ages 6-11
Learn survival skills, connect with other boys, build bird houses, make new friends, and much more!

NRC Youth Group
Ages 12 and up
In this program, kids learn the basics of government. This excellent group of young people represent the youth of the NRC. The Youth Group meets weekly to discuss the Fulton Community, to plan events, community service projects and fundraisers. View calendar »
Cooking Classes
All ages
Learn the art of making delicious food! In this class, youth use the produce from our garden to make fresh healthy meals. View calendar »
Gardening
All ages
On Wednesdays, youth and adults in the Fulton Community tend the organic garden in the back of the center. All summer long we will be growing a large variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers. Join us to learn about how you can grow organic vegetables in your own garden. View calendar »
Field Trips!
All ages

Photography: Coming this Summer!
Ages 10 and up
Kids learn the basics of photography, how to capture images, and work with digital photos.
Recording Studio
Ages 10 & up
Express yourself through music! Write your own songs, poems and stories and earn a pass into the NRC recording studio. Young writers will have an opportunity to perform songs or read poems at community events and publish their works in a community newsletter. Learn more » or view calendar »
Elementary Tae Kwon Do
Youth (6 to 12)
People ages 6 and up are learning to kick, punch and block, while having a great time. Tae Kwon Do is a martial art which helps develop basic self-defense skills, discipline, coordination and confidence. Learn at your own pace, in a cooperative, non-competitive learning environment.
