The NRC offers a variety of educational and cultural arts programs for preschoolers, youth ages 6-17, and adults. Most programs are free; others are offered on a sliding scale for afforadabilty.

        • Job Support
          Starts: 10:00 am
          Ends: 3:00 pm
          Details:The NRC is pleased to offer job support! come by the center during our morning hours to receive one-on-one help for job searching, resume help and other assistance.
        • Homework Help/After-school Supper
          Starts: 3:30 pm
          Ends: 5:00 pm
          Details:Everyday Monday-Thursday the center is open in the afternoons for youth (ages 6 -18). Come in and enjoy a hot meal (which you may have helped prepare the day before in cooking class) then enjoy a peaceful space to do your homework. Tutors are available to help, so don't worry if your homework has you stumped!
        • Gardening
          Starts: 4:30 pm
          Ends: 6:30 pm
          Details:On Tuesdays, youth and adults in the Fulton Community tend the organic garden in the back of the center. All summer long we will be growing a large variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers. Join us to learn about how you can grow organic vegetables in your own garden.
        • Kids Arts & Crafts
          Starts: 5:00 pm
          Ends: 6:30 pm
          Details:Work on a variety of art projects using paint, clay, charcoals and other materials. Learn about artists and the cultures they came out of. No previous experience necessary!
        • Cooking Class
          Starts: 5:00 pm
          Ends: 6:30 pm
          Details:Cooking classes feed the NRC! In this class, you are cooking the main component of the preschool lunch, and after-school supper for the day following your class. You will prepare a variety of dishes, from the simple to complex, standard to exotic. No matter what you are cooking, you will be making it from scratch, using fresh ingredients.
        • Elementary Tae Kwon Do
          Starts: 6:00 pm
          Ends: 6:30 pm
          Details:Tae Kwon Do is a martial art which helps develop basic self-defense skills, discipline, coordination and confidence. Learn at your own pace, in a cooperative, non-competitive learning environment.
        • Tae Kwon Do
          Starts: 6:30 pm
          Ends: 7:30 pm
          Details:Taught by a black belt, people ages 8 to 58 are learning to kick, punch and block, while having a great time. Tae Kwon Do is a martial art which helps develop basic self-defense skills, discipline, coordination and confidence. Learn at your own pace, in a cooperative, non-competitive learning environment. New students are always welcome!
