Eagle Scouts Build and Donate New Cabinets

Jay Hathaway of Boy Scout Troop #512 completed his Eagle Scout Project by coordinating the construction and installation of new storage cabinets in the bathrooms, hallway and cafe area of the NRC. The cabinets bring the NRC Cafe one step closer to completion and provide much-needed storage space for program supplies. Jay’s fellow troop members helped him install the cabinets on a series of Saturdays. NRC staff and volunteers are giving the cabinets rave reviews. After-school program coordinator Penny Ferris couldn’t be happier. “The cabinets are absolutely beautiful and functional. We now have enough space for everything to be organized so children can easily locate and return supplies to their proper place.” Thanks to Jay and Troop 512 for making this possible!
