Homework Help/After-school Supper

Details:Everyday Monday-Thursday the center is open in the afternoons for youth (ages 6 -18). Come in and enjoy a hot meal (which you may have helped prepare the day before in cooking class) then enjoy a peaceful space to do your homework. Tutors are available to help, so don't worry if your homework has you stumped!
Gardening

Details:On Tuesdays, youth and adults in the Fulton Community tend the organic garden in the back of the center. All summer long we will be growing a large variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers. Join us to learn about how you can grow organic vegetables in your own garden.
Kids Arts & Crafts

Details:Work on a variety of art projects using paint, clay, charcoals and other materials. Learn about artists and the cultures they came out of. No previous experience necessary!
Cooking Class

Details:Cooking classes feed the NRC! In this class, you are cooking the main component of the preschool lunch, and after-school supper for the day following your class. You will prepare a variety of dishes, from the simple to complex, standard to exotic. No matter what you are cooking, you will be making it from scratch, using fresh ingredients.
Elementary Tae Kwon Do

Details:Tae Kwon Do is a martial art which helps develop basic self-defense skills, discipline, coordination and confidence. Learn at your own pace, in a cooperative, non-competitive learning environment.
Tae Kwon Do
Starts: 6:30 pm
Ends: 7:30 pm
Details:Taught by a black belt, people ages 8 to 58 are learning to kick, punch and block, while having a great time. Tae Kwon Do is a martial art which helps develop basic self-defense skills, discipline, coordination and confidence. Learn at your own pace, in a cooperative, non-competitive learning environment. New students are always welcome!
